Dear Catherine
Please join us for the launch of Makespace Oxford on Saturday 14th July from 2-6pm at 1 Aristotle Lane, OX2 6TP.
We shall cut the official ribbon at 3pm and raise a glass to the future of the project along with the sixteen innovative and creative organisations that now call Makespace Oxford home, supporters of the project, friends, family and the local community. There will be a series of open studios and guided tours as well as a barbecue and bar, an exhibition and activities until 4pm, followed by drinks by the canal until 6pm.
Makespace Oxford is an ongoing project to bring Oxford’s empty and under-used space back into community use. As Oxford’s first truly affordable workspace, we are now providing subsidised co-working space for social enterprises, workers cooperatives and small charities in our Jericho building on Aristotle Lane - including SHARE Oxford, the Library of Things. You can find out more on our website or by following us on Instagram.
Applications are, by the way, currently open to take hot-desking space at Makespace Oxford. Please get in touch to find out more.
Please let us know if you plan to attend via return email or Facebook.
I hope to see you there. With best wishes
Maurice Herson (in this case, on behalf of Makespace Oxford)
