Have you ever tried using BabylonHx? I found there are few bugs in the sample and I couldn't get it to work.

(I just tried again tonight on linux and it doesn't work out of the

There is my engine Haxor.
Its documentation isn't the best yet but it is usable :)
The workflow is similar to Unity where you create stuff and add components.
