Hi!

Any solution in Haxe 3 flash, to embed any font CFF version.
I need to use TLFTextField (TLF = TextLayoutFramework) to input Arabic text, and now the textfield isn't anti-aliased.
Anybody has any solution to this problem?

Thanks in Advance!
Tom

There is no solution for this? Or how can I make Arabic input text with smooth anti-aliased fonts? :-/

I would guess the only way to do that would be to use the AS3 TLF stuff, and the Adobe toolset. Adobe seems to have largely abandoned it's TLF/DefineFont4 stuff, or at least hasn't added anything new to it in quite a long time. They threw it over the wall at Apache, and even took it out of Flash CC. My guess is the way to do international text going forward is to use HTML5, and avoid Flash for that kind of work.

Thanks for Your answer!
I need to do it in flash, so I need figure out a solution, with html support.
I have a converter script, which can connect the individual Arabic characters, but not support any html formatting.
So I need a hidden textfield for real input, and a visible output textfield with correct cursor position and correct formatting - not so easy.
