Gamepad on Windows target (still) broken

Hey peeps!
I'm busy developing my game and it's going great so far...
Until I try to implement controls. To be specific, the gamepad (Xbox gamepad),
It's going to be a crucial tool in my game, but there is this one problem.
It seems that the gamepad is broken on the Windows target. 
Buttons are mapped wrong (for example: the action buttons are somehow mapped to the D-pad and the D-pad doesn't even get picked up)
I know there are similar posts floating somewhere on the internet mentioning this very same problem.
My question now is, is it already solved or is it going to be solved?
I really need it to work or I am going to hit a brick wall. 

I'm using Flixel 3.3.11, OpenFL 3.4.0 and Lime 2.7.0 at the moment.
I hope this problem will be solved soon!
