I just migrated over to a new Mac, reinstalled Haxe + the whole Haxeflixel shebang. Neko target runs fine but 'lime test mac' now results in a broken cpp binary being compiled which the terminal command just silently fails to run. There's no output or anything in the terminal either (on my old mac it would show the verbose result of compiling all the different files in the game).

Any idea if this is a new mac thing (I believe this one is on Mavericks now, previously I was Mountain Lion) or if I've just forgotten to install/setup something? Like I say, Neko target works fine.

Maybe you can try: lime rebuild mac -64 -clean

Nothing, unfortunately. Thanks for the suggestion though. Perhaps I'm missing some dependency or other.

I would ask around the OpenFL forum then: http://community.openfl.org/

Okay I've done something to make the situation even worse now >_>

> haxelib list

> haxelib Repository /usr/bin/haxelib exists, but was a file, not a directory.  Please remove it and run `haxelib setup` again.

Any idea what I've done? Removing these folders and reinstalling haxe doesn't change this...

Alright that's been fixed.

So going back to the original idea: could this be related to the installation of a C++ compiler on my Mac?

Did you run "lime setup" as usual?

Yeah, all seems to be fine. Neko target works fine too, launches the game just dandy. lime test mac doesn't though.

There is something hinky about my setup here I just can't put my finger on what.

Found the problem! My Xcode installation was all screwed up on the new mac. Reinstalled it, new C++ compiler, mac target now works.

Thanks for your patience everyone.
