Google Group Settings - Edit Posts etc

Hi everyone a couple of people were asking why they couldn't edit their own posts, all members should now have the ability to edit their own.

We are all new to Google groups and there is a list of settings/features we can try and tweak.
Let us know of any more suggestions.

Looks like the mobile theme of google groups doesn't let you edit posts. Everyone ahould be able to do so now otherwise.

I have now enabled tags, so you can view posts according to that.
We can edit the default suggestions. I have put a requirement for at least one tag for posts.

Do you guys think there should only be an agreed upon set of tags or "free for all" tags that anyone can make up?
One benefit of having a forced set that we come up with is that the tag filter views may be more organized and specific.

Also I have noticed email replied work real well, pretty cool I can post/reply from the gmail app on my phone :)

An agreed upon set of tags sounds best to me.  That way it can function much like the folders in the previous forum and it also prevents spelling differences etc. making some posts hard to find.

Awesome! yeah I like everything together with tags its how every other google group I read does it :)

I agree with Gold_Ninja here. If everyone can come up with tags of his own, it will quickly become a mess.
