Hey,

I've been playing this game for the last 2 hours or so and I've gotten stuck.
I got to the part where I have to connect to a computer with the IP: 66.1.22.2 with port 179 open.
But every time I try connecting to that IP I get Corrupt Network Data and a load of seemingly random letters and some numbers.
I do see this line: JKNSSHAREDON66.1.24.JAISJHSNJHSJ which I assume has something to do with getting access to this computer... but I just can't figure it out... (I'm a bit of a n00b. :P )
Hope someone can help me with this.

well, looking at the output, "66.1.24." instantly jumps out to me as a partial IP address, and if you check the docs/help for the scan command you'll see that it allows you to scan a (contiguous) range of ips... perhaps scanning from the start (66.1.24.0) to the end (66.1.24.255) will reveal a living (has open ports) computer, if so, it's probably related to your target (considering you got the IP from the previous target ;) ).

I considered that much, although when I tried scanning 66.1.24.0 to 66.1.24.255 it said that 66.1.24.0 was an invalid IP address but still let the scan continue, which caused the game to crash. (So I kinda ragequit. :P ) I've played back up to that point in about 10 minutes and now I've gotten 12 alive IPs now, so time to scan all of these for open ports. :P Thanks for the advice!

And then I get stuck again... XD
I've gotten to the point where I have 66.7.82.99 or internal-9.ndrgrnd.pipelink.gov with 3 open ports, 80, 81 and 82. Access denied on all of them.
Now I did get an email from find.com which has an exploit which allows a user open HTTP access when the key code is RRS441. I assume I have to use this, but I don't know how.
(I also still know about the XFTP Buffer overflow and the Jazzyweb Header Redirection exploit which I'm not sure if you're ever going to use)

Quick disclaimer: It's been a little while since I've completed the campaign myself so I don't remember the details exactly but, if I recall correctly, this should be helpful:
I do remember getting stuck there myself for a decent amount of time...think about it for a bit and if you can't figure it out then here's a hint:
ok, well you now have a network name (pipelink.gov) typically a network will have more than one machine, just because one portion of it's blocked off doesn't mean that ALL of it will be...perhaps you can think of a way to find if there are other machines that are registered to the pipelink.gov domain? (<-highlight to reveal)

(As for the XFTP Buffer overflow... I can't remember if that was used in the campaign or if it was just a sidequest...but there is an opportunity to used it in there somewhere)

Ok, for the pipelink.gov you have to look at the starting point which will be find.com . Look for domain registrations. That is a huge tip, so I can't say anymore than that.

Hello, thanks for playing Hax. With regards to the game crashing on you (sorry about that), can you look in the console if there is a stack trace available? I tried the scan using the command "scan 66.1.24.0 66.1.24.255 " and it worked flawlessly. Thank you.
