I am using hawt.io version 1.5.9 in an instance of Servicemix 6.1.1.  I want to be able to save configuration changes but when I attempt to save my changes, the blue "save" button is disabled.  I see in the browser debugger that shows that the button is disabled based on the value of "canSave".

Am I missing a configuration which prevents me from getting this to work?  I'm logging in to the hawt.io console using smx/smx.

I'm installing the hawt.io bundles using the commands:

feature:repo-add hawtio 1.5.0
feature:install hawtio-core

Hi,

Make sure that the user has a privilege to invoke the 'canSave' operation on the mbean. I would check the ACL files on Karaf.

Do you have any more information on this you could share?  I've run into a road block with this. I changed the contents of my jmx.acl.org.apache.karaf.security.jmx.cfg file to:

canSave = admin
canInvoke = admin

and I still cannot change anything in my bundles.

It's hard to tell exactly what set of ACL files you need to recover the save button. I tested the same function on a clean Karaf 4.1.3 container and it works just fine. So you can compare the set of ACL files in Karaf 4.1.x with ServiceMix 6.1.1 to see what's missing. Or you can just try a newer version of ServiceMix.

Ok thank you.  I’ll try 4.1.x.
