It has been suggested that we repurpose the web server that GGRO currently uses to enter daily logs, and which I own/administer, to post the new daily logs to a non-GGRO location. Assuming we want to do this, this is a thread to sort out logistics.

The form is here: http://www.hydromatic.net/ggro/form.jsp

To prevent spammers/vandalism, a password is required to post. Whoever is going to post should contact me directly for that password.

(Several people can be authorized to post, but let’s start with just one.)

The form has a little validation, such as making sure that the numbers add up, but is pretty forgiving.

I should be able to rig it today so that a post generates an email (and records the data of course). Removing the GGRO branding is a priority.

Another day and I should be able to generate a web page. The web page will be very plain html because web design is not my thing. (I will be grateful for help fixing that!)

When we have it running, it would be great to start posting the backlog of data gathered over the past weeks.
