Hi Paul!
I don't know if anyone else answered your email, but did you know that we aren't currently allowed up on the Hill? This is due to construction.
"While we normally welcome visitors during the season, Hawk Hill will be closed to the public this fall due to the Hawk Hill Visitor Improvement Project. "
hope all's well with you and the family,
JJ

Paul

Sat 2 people are now on Sat 1, Sat 2, Sun 1, Sun 2, Mon 2 and maybe other days.

Contractors are done except for the railing. In the meantime, no one is allowed up except people who are officially working. They actually paved the road---no more sliding down and breaking ankles and tearing knee cartilage.  They expect the railings to come at any time and initially gave an opening date as of the end of September but mid October is looking more likely.

The daily count is being posted----broadwings are coming through in kettles. Lots of kestrels, no kites.

Speaking of Prodigal Saturday II members, Carol and I will be visiting the Cape May hawkwatch in a couple weeks. We are avoiding the festival, which happens a week later, in an effort to avoid the crowds while still sneaking a peek at peak migration. If anyone has any advice on how best do the CMBO hawkwatch, I would welcome your advice.

I would contact Lillian Armstrong, former Saturday II dayleader. She works there.
