File and pages download

Since a few weeks there is a message on the forum that pages and files
of the Hawkboard forum can be downloaded in a compressed form until
Aug, 31. But when downloading there are only some logos and an empty
index file.
Does this message mean that Hawkboard forum will be closed?
In the contributions to the forum there is a lot of valuable
information. Will that information be lost?
