Hi, David,

Long time no contact with you. Hope everything is okay in your life.

I want to give you some information about our market investigation for potential HAWK sales. First the monopoly is RockEval tool in Russia. We have the only one distributor here and one can buy RE only thru this company. Next, market is not big because in Russia we don’t use pyrolytics at the fields. Often they use RE in different Geological Research Institutes of Petroleum rather for science usage.

Also to import a device like HAWK in Russia you have to go thru customs. To do this we need to certify product here. This procedure is not cheap and is not fast.

These are facts.

So tell me please, do you still really interested in selling HAWK in Russia? If yes than you need to understand that the way is not easy.

To understand the cost of certification procedure can you give us user manual for the HAWK tool? Do you have it?

And one more question. For the moment we have one potential client. If he decide to buy instrument, can you sell it for him? I know that it is not finished yet and I suppose you have some clients staying in queue.

Best regards,

Hello Sergey,

How is your new addition doing? J

Yes we are very interested in marketing and selling to Russia market. We are aware that the Rock-Eval is our competition AND we are able to compete against it. The Rock-Eval line of instrument is famous for poor reliability and poor support both of which we pride ourselves on.

I am CCing Albert and we will certainly add his comments.

On another matter I have a question about our software, Vitali wants us to make the final payment on our software project however we are still having some minor issues and we have not fully tested all aspects of the software. My question is if we make the final payment can we still get support or if we find an issue that is not correct will it be fixed quickly?
