We had a great hike today. It has been raining so Kate, Jennifer, and
I decided to go do a hike in central Oahu instead of Laie. It was
sometimes death defying but awesome. I like this method of
spontaneous hike decisions and honestly I'm tired of feeling like I
have to show up and everyone else can if they want to or not...so here
it is.

If you have a hike you want to go on, post it here with the time and
meeting place. Someone will probably want to go with you.

If you just wake up on a Saturday or Sunday and want to hike, head on
over to Volcano Joes at 10am and see if any of the hikers are there.
Bring your ideas and books and if a hike hasn't already been decided,
we (or you) will decide there. I suggest we wait until 10:15 to leave
and if people are later than that, that's too bad for them.

To recap:

1) If you want to hike a specific time or place, post it here with a
meeting spot

2) Random hike meetups on Saturday and Sunday at 10 am in front of
Volcano Joes

3) Always bring water, good shoes, a great attitude, respect for each
other and the outdoors, and drive if can so that those who don't drive
can catch a ride to far off trail heads. All hiking is at your own
risk- so be safe!

I probably won't make it to next weeks hike but encourage everyone
interested to go and have a great time.

See you on the trail- cheers!
