If i recall ,the signs were paid 50% by a grant and 50 % by the
peoples monies.
Delima's drilling did the drilling at a very good price with help from
helpers in the community.
Every one does their part in helping our community, picking up opala on
roads, helping when and where they can. Other residents but not actual
lot owners did drilling of posts so the road signs could be put up and
attached.
On our specific Rd,a sign maker who has since passed away put up a
simple sign after the other sign with rd name was stolen and never
found or thrown into the bushes.
I drive the road you access 8rd from a few times a week and pick up
half a truck load of opala on average.I do it not for any one but
myself,to keep the aina clean.
I have noticed in past vehicals dropping appliances, chairs, household
goods and other rubbish like used tires and with my long range
telephoto lenses taken photo's of the perps in action and turned them
into the current community watch persons. If the community watch
persons turned the High resolution photo's into the police department
then i would hope that the perps have been dealt with, but alas,i see
the same vehicals driving on the roads and dropping opala and again i
take long range telephoto high resolution photo's and instead of
turning them into community watch,i put on flash drive and give
directly to community policing unit for puna and our area.
I have also seen vehicals in driveways that do not belong and taken
photo's that are with time and date and this proves at least in
photo's which homes have been burgled / robbed in your area.
I do my part where ever i go as i take pride in my community.
We all pitch in with our own funds to help our community,if you do not
like being part of those who care, then step down, resign and do what
ever you do when not helping others who are not as fortunate as we in
HA are.
No wifi where i reside either,no cable, expensive grid power SSSP.
Have slow dialup,it suffices.
Whats your POINT of the above diatribe ?
