Verison DSL VS WoW.Hi.NET VS RR

Aloha,
Just a few stupid questions I have here.

ok for starters has anyone had or have Wow.hi.net wireless internet????
and if so is it up to speed??

Also what would be better to have??
wireless
cable
adsl
im not really into games online but do play from time to time, just looking
for a good connection to the net for file transfers ect.
I also had cable a few years back when it 1st started and was really good
but i know now it is getting really slow compared to what it once was.


And I guess last but not least why is it that Verizon can give such good
deals to the mainland and not here?
because all the ISP'S in Hawaii double to triple the price that Verizon
offers it at.
