Thursday, September 27 at 1:45 p.m.
Along Industrial Parkway and Scottslawn Road

The Scotts Veterans Network (SVN) is encouraging associates to join in giving an appropriate send off to the Marysville-based National Guard unit that has been called up to active duty.

Battery C of the Ohio National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 174th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, stationed at the armory in Marysville, is being deployed on Thursday. The 80 National Guard members - who are from throughout the state of Ohio - will help train other air defense units in Europe and could have some on-call orders for emergencies in Europe.

The route
The National Guard will be leaving the armory at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday in two buses that will be escorted by law enforcement. They will travel the following route:

·         Colemans Crossing

·         To Industrial Parkway

·         To Scottslawn Road

·         To 33

What you can do

·         Bring an American flag or pick up a small flag at WHQ or R&D front desk

·         Wear red, white and blue

·         Line the deployment’s route on Industrial Parkway and Scottslawn Road

·         Cheer and thank the soldiers for their service
