By default, your Facebook profile information, posts, and even your friends are available for all to see. It's often convenient for your friends list to be public, because it can help people find and connect with you.
If you prefer, you can restrict who can see your entire friends list using Facebook's privacy settings. You might not want everyone to see it, especially if you want to mask the identity of some friends from others. Or perhaps you just value your privacy and don't want everyone to know who you're connected to online.
7. Click the dropdown to reveal a list of options. You can choose: Public, Friends, Friends except, Specific friends, Only me, or Custom.

I was creating an event for a Halloween party on Facebook and going through my friendlist to send out invites. I was struck by how many people I had to scroll through to get to the ones I was actually inviting. So I decided to go through my whole friend list and unfriend everyone I was not actually friends with.
This became a bit self confrontational. I have always had a hard time connecting with people and most "friends" I had was only people I'd added due to shared situations at the time, like high school and college class mates, dorm room neighbors or work colleagues. Going through the list I saw people I've spent every school day with for several years but now haven't talked to in years and have no interest to. I saw people I would have liked to befriend but never did. And most of all I saw name after name of people I'd no idea who they were, even though I've never been one to add people on facebook without knowing them in real life. So many people who's made so little impression on me. It's kinda sad.
So far I've only worked out how to find out the friends of a person who I am also friends with. However the Friends Wheel application can do it as you can generate a wheel base on one of your friends, so I'm guessing it is possible.
You Can only access friends list of logged in user(i.e, your friend list) or the logged in user's friends that are users of your app. i.e, You can access friends friend list only if your friends are the users of your app.
Once you've got a valid access token for a user, you can query the Graph API with said token and query the "friends" connection of the user object (/me/friends). So if your user ID is "123":
There are a number of different configurations you can choose when it comes to hiding your friends list. This means you can choose to leave it public, set it as private or pick and choose which Facebook users can flip through it by name.
Facebook does not send any alerts when someone unfriends you on Facebook for privacy reasons. However, your friends list on Facebook contains a complete list of all of your current friends; when someone unfriends you, they will be removed from this list. Your friends list also displays the number of total friends that you have. If this number goes down, you can check back on your friends list to see who unfriended you. If you have many friends and cannot remember all of them, it may be easier to save a copy of your current friends list for comparison in the future to see who unfriended you.
Locate the "Friends" icon below your top cover photo on your Facebook timeline. Note the number of friends you have, which is displayed on the "Friends" icon. Write down the number on a piece of paper.
Save your Friends page by clicking "Page" in your browser's program menu at the top of the window and selecting the "Save As" option from the drop-down menu. Choose a location on your computer where you would like to save your current friends list page and click the "Save" button to save a current copy of your friends list for reference.
I'm currently unable to look at my friends list, whenever I open the app for the friends list and it says that I need to log into Facebook to be able to use the social features on Oculus, when did this happen? I set up a Horizons account so that I didn't have to use a Facebook account, whenever I look on my phone, the screen goes grey when I click the people option, any help? Do I really need a Facebook account to use my Quest 2 again?
Same here, must be a glitch as it's only happened today. You can still see your followers if you click the button in the "people" tab or on the explore tab too. I've also noticed the apps menu changed to a "detail" view for no reason and then back to the usual tabs the next day. You wouldn't be able to login at all if you required Facebook, this only appears to be affecting the people/followers/friends list.

I play on Facebook, I can play the game fine, but all my friends are gone. The game has all the permissions needed, same as all the other king games, but Candy Crush Soda has no friends. When I run out of lives it says ask friends and the friends page is blank, none listed there like it used to be.
Did Social Hub appear when your friends disappeared? Friends list usually disappears when Social Hub becomes available in the game and unfortunately friends need to be re-added to the the list using Social Hub

You can login to Facebook and go directly to a list. I have two lists, Professional and Close Friends. They both appear on the left frame. I simply scroll down the left frame, find the list I want to look at and then click it. When you are looking at a Facebook Friend List, you will see its URL (Internet address) in your browser's address bar. That is valuable.
You can place a shortcut on your desktop. One of my lists is at With a shortcut on your desktop, you can simply click the shortcut and go straight to the list. Facebook will present a login prompt if you're not currently logged in.

If you have been living with a contacts list inundated with hundreds of Facebook friends, there is an easy fix. Head to Settings and scroll down until you find Facebook. For the Facebook setting, you'll see a section titled Allow These Apps to Use Your Account. Tap the slider to Off for Contacts. Now, head back to the All Contacts list and you'll see your list returned to its state prior to iOS 6 -- listing only the contacts you entered.
