Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at 10am PT / 1pm ET for our first monthly hipscat/lsdb "demo and feedback" day.

Hi Everyone,

We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET for our second monthly hipscat/lsdb "demo and feedback" day. I am excited to show you all a selection of things that we have done in the last month! Please let us know if there is something in particular that you would like to discuss.

Spread in the size of pixels - why are they
Speed improvements in reading

Loading subsets on I/O level
Even more loading improvements in reading (optimizing paths, pixel tree)
Finding the galactic plane
Resuming imports
State of almanac discussion
Pixel upgrades for a small to large catalog join
