Dear all,

We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow, Friday, September 20, 10 am PT / 1 pm ET for our monthly hipscat/lsdb "demo and feedback” day (every 3rd Friday of the month). After a break in August, I am excited to share our updates.
Please let us know if there is something in particular that you would like to discuss.

The agenda:
Report from last two months including busy week with Space Telescope and IPAC, co-working with CDS, various public engagements, nested work and algorithm improvements
Potential presentation by Gregory Dubois-Felsmann about database-like API accessors
Future plans, including ADASS 2024, IVOA meeting, and most importantly, renaming from hipscat -> HATS (Hierarchal Adaptive Tiling Scheme).

The zoom is at:

Dear all,

We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow, Friday, October 18, 10 am PT / 1 pm ET for our monthly hats/lsdb "demo and feedback” day (every 3rd Friday of the month). Most of our time last month has been occupied with the renaming and code changes/modifications to support that (for instance https://github.com/astronomy-commons/hats/milestone/2?closed=1). We are looking forward to presenting our work and receiving your valuable feedback.

Kind Regards,
Neven
