Thinking it could be better

The past few months have been with the clocks going according to the way I prefer, at "standard' time, short as it is compared to DST.  But to enjoy that preferred way of counting time being used, it must be at wintertime, which is otherwise not my preferred time of the year.  Maybe winter would not seem so bad to put up with if I knew for a certainty "standard" time would keep going.
