After trialling with 2GB over the summer, station insiders have
confirmed that David Oldfield is being considered as a replacement
for midnight-to-dawn favourite Jim Ball, who recently defected to
2UE. A spokesman for 2GB said "no decision had been made on the
position as yet," but Oldfield confirmed he had plans to do "fill-
ins" throughout the year. (Courier- Mail)
