GGM's Item pack offers significant advantages over previous packs.*A complete collection of Unique items, adding many missing items to the files. Most Necromancer wands were missing, Most Assassin Claws Were Missing, Most Amazon Only Items Were Missing, and many more that have been since added.

*Ethereal Versions of All Unique Items for easier importing with correct Defense Values Hero Editor does not automatically calculate the Defense of an Ethereal Item making the creation of Ethereal items somewhat tedious. To Lessen the amount of time you have to waste on this I have gone ahead and created Eth Versions of all uniques and calculated the Defense Values for you in advance.

*White/Socketed bases of every item in the game for easier importing & creation of new Runewords. I wanted to make it extremely easy for you to create a runeword in whatever base you wanted if I didn't have the correct option for you already made. So I created a White Base Item or Socketed base item of every single type. So you can very easily choose the socketed base, or socket the white item with the correct number of sockets and create away.

*"What If" Section of Ethereal Sets Who knows what the future brings, so I created an entirely new folder full of ethereal versions of the sets for your fun and enjoyment, as well as a bit of future proofing. If Blizzard should ever allow set items to drop ethereal well I got ya covered.

*Fixed Unique items with incorrect Values such as Tyrael's Might, Stormlash, and more. There were a large number of errors in The Kingpintz item pack, too many to mention that I discovered while I did my Item videos. like Tyrael's armor having +100% Requirements instead of -100% requirements, Azurewrath being lvl 54 Requirement, Stormlash being set to on Attack, instead of on striking, and many more.

*Consolidated Multiple Item packs into one more condensed Version. There were a couple item packs out there already floating about, Diablo II.net, Kingpintz, and various smaller packs. I took a full day and combined them all together as best I could making sure only to take the best bits of each.

*Added many Misc Items, such as potions, Scrolls, Gems of all types, and more. Many simple items were missing from most if not all of the packs, and I took the time to add them. The list is too long to make here, but suffice it to say some of these simple items are kind of important when creating things. Something as Simple as a perfect Diamond wasn't even in the packs.

A little bit of an update, I have added a Buttload more crafted items to the pack, I have also started adding mock runewords for D2 LoD Players who want to test out the new runewords with the old version of the game. As well as Mock Infinity in spears, and Mock Insight in Bows since they are also not possible in D2 LoD.

Hello everyone, Ginger Gaming Mentor did amazing job and made item database usable for D2 Hero editor anyone can use either for old Diablo 2 or for D2R after character transfer. Item databse/Item pack has various items to test builds or just play with it. It has many cool stuff like for example 2.4 runewords and a lot of stuff old item packs had wrong or completely missing.

Hero Editor does not automatically calculated the Defense of an Ethereal Item making the creation of Ethereal items somewhat tedious. To Lessen the amount of time you have to waste on this I have gone ahead and created Eth Versions of all uniques and calculated the Defense Values for you in advance.

There were a couple items packs out there already floating about, Diablo II. net, Kingpintz, and various smaller packs. I took a full day and combined them all together as best I could making sure only to take the best bits of each.

- added the 5 new items (Token of Absolution, etc.)
- set the Gold limit for the Stash to the new flat cap
- mass Stat removal added (e.g. remove prayer from all items with one click, BUT, each aura can be removed separately, and not all auras at once)
- added "Akara has Reset Stat/Skill Points" to Act I, Quest I

Update: In fact, the program failed to create a basic wand with +1 raise skeleton on it, and pops up similar errors when trying to use the item editor. I've ensured that "item decode" is set to 1.10-1.13, and it was by default. In fact, everything is set how it is apparently supposed to be.

I just downloaded this and it is telling me that it cant find any character files... what should I do?
It actually says it cant find diablo 2 on my computer and to please try to find my character manually

A bit late but I've since found the fix. Seems hero editor is looking for a registry value for "Save Path" but the new blizzard installer doesn't install this value. Fix instructions are:
1. Open Regedit as admin
2. Browse to \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Blizzard Entertainment\Diablo II
3. Add a new value (String Value).
4. Call it "Save Path" and set the value to the location your save files are in eg C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\Diablo II

So I'm not sure what to do. I just downloaded diablo 2 from blizzard, and I have version 1.14. I'm trying to use hero editor for single player mode. Every time I press open on hero editor, it tells me that it cant find my diablo game. From the research that I have done, I think it has to do with the save file? I think before the patch the save file was C:\Program File (x86)\Diablo II\save\ .After the patch it got changed to C:\Users\charles\Saved Games\Diablo II\. Well I have gone into regedit under NewSavePath and I have changed the code to the first one. After I do this, I go back into the game, and I have tried making a new character and saving it. As soon as I do, the code changes right back to C:\Users\charles\Saved Games\Diablo II\. And hero editor cant find my game or my character. What am I doing wrong? Would it be easier to find a older version of diablo and download that one? If I do that, will I have a hard time with it finding my characters if it gets patched to the new version?

When i'm trying to import item, it tells me that cannot find D2 on this computer and program can't see any items that i have in files. What can i do ?
Edit: Nevermind, it actually works. After you get error, just go into the location of your item and you still be able to import them.

Does anyone know what the COMPLETE item pack is called or where to find it? There used to be a pack with all items including RuneWords, Uniques, etc. I have found "KingPintz item pack" but it's massively, massively incomplete.

Now please take this with the following consideratoin - Playing single player has been more and more popular in the recent years, especially with the Pluggy mode. People are playing legit characters and gearing themselves with self-found items. This is what Diablo II is all about. Trainers ruin this good feeling easily. It might feel like a good idea to give yourself a little start with a trainer but believe me - this will not last long and disappointment will soon kick in. If you still think you want to use a trainer, continue and download on your own caution.

You can import/export these items as item files through a trianer such as the Hero Editor. The items are in a .d2i format. You can import items from the library to gear up an experimental build or just to start with an already geared character. The export function is also really good. If you have found an item and you want to share it (as an item file) with the rest of the world, you can export this item into a .d2i file where others can use too.

I am doing a D2 Item pack of my own but it's not completely ready yet. Still, has very good items and will update it over time. Everything in this item pack will be legit, self-found (mostly) and properly working. Check it out below

Some people are having a lot of fun to try and collect all the unique and set items in the game. This is usually happening on PlugY where the stash can hold all the items for evidence. Another advanced achivement is to actually have a screenshot of each item dropping. I will be soon developing an app to the Holy Grail where you will be able to record and upload your own Holy Grail lists but until it's ready you can download this Holy Grail folder pack below. It just contains empty folders but they are sorted properly so you can put your drop screenshots in there.

So basically just unzip the archive somewhere. It is a collection of empty folders. Whenever you find an item, screenshot it while on the ground, then take the screenshot from your Diablo II folder and cut/paste it to the relevant folder inside the Holy Grail structure.

I also suggest that you completely segregate all old 1.09 and 1.10 items that you might have into a separate folder and then create a new folder for 1.11 items. Importing 1.09 items into 1.10 or 1.11 characters can cause various problems and may even make your character unusable. Similarly, there are 7 new items in 1.11 that can not be used in 1.10 games and characters.

Note: While these are the maximum values that D2 LOD 1.11 will allow you to set in your character, you may exceed these values by adding item attributes that add or enhance the above stats (such as +nn to Life, +nn to Dexterity, etc.). Using in-game editors can also allow you to increase these Stats when in a game, but the Stats will return to the above limits when the character file is saved.

To edit the magic attributes for an existing item in your char, click on the inventory tab, right-click on the item, and select "Specific Editing Functions" and "MAGIC Attribute Editing". In the Hero Editor Extras window, the Item Edit tab will be selected and three columns will appear. In the "Item Edit" column (left-most column), the item that you wanted to edit should be selected. In the middle column, the 'Magic' branch should be selected (click on it, if not) and the item's magic attributes should appear in the right-most column.
