The Hastings County Historical Society will present Ms Melissa
Wakeling speaking on "The World Famous Kiltie Band of Belleville".
Ms Wakeling is the education and marketing coordinator for Glanmore
House National Historic Site and will
describe the history of the Belleville Kiltie Band - one of the most
successful touring brass bands in Canadian history
with two world tours that visited 25 countries and two command
performances for the King. Hear early recordings of the band.
Date: January 18, 2011. Time: 7:30 PM. Location Quinte Living Centre
Auditorium, 370 Front Street, Belleville.
