Tuesday, May 15: Hastings County Historical Society Presents: Major
John Grodzinski CD, PhD, assistant professor at the Royal Military
College of Canada (Kingston), presents on the War of 1812. Major
Grodzinski will focus on events near Quinte, but also discuss wartime
action along Lake Ontario. Town Crier, Bruce Bedell, will also attend,
as will several historical re-enactors in 1812 era uniforms. Join us
at 7:30 p.m., downtown Belleville, at the Quinte Living Centre, 370
Front Street (northeast corner door). Bring a friend. www.hastingshistory.ca
