The current copy of Outlook contains a very direct appeal from the
President of the Hastings County Historical Society to members for
financial contributions to the Archives Relocation Fund.
As part of the Society's involvement in the development of a new
Community Archives, the Society has pledged to raise $100,000 or more.
Several members have expressed interest in making major contributions;
this appeal is a call to them and to all others to open your
chequebooks and let the money flow!
Our public subscription campaign will begin soon and it is imperative
that we have a strong showing of support from our own members.
