November 15: Current history is explored by a Canadian soldier who has
recently been to war. Captain Leslie Dicks, of 8 Wing
Telecommunications & Information Services Squadron, has just returned
from Afghanistan where she was involved in closing out Canadian
Forces’ Air Wing in Kandahar. Captain Dicks will present her
experiences and perspectives serving overseas, ‘in theatre’ with
Canada’s combat operations. Join us at 7:30 p.m., downtown Belleville,
at the Quinte Living Centre, 370 Front St. (Northeast corner door).
