Bark scorpion with babies picture

Check out the photo of the bark scorpion with babies on its back. A
scorpion can have as many as 100 babies at a time. They are born
alive, not hatched from eggs. This one was under the computer in the
visitor center.

I put it in a box so I could take a pic of it, then released mom and babies in the garden.

I found another scorpion under the same computer this Saturday. It
was wound up in spider web and had different bugs stuck on it...it was
unable to move much. I took it outside, cleaned it off, and it was
soon running around like new! Melissa took some photos. I guess that
computer seems like a good place to hide for scorpions.
