If you downloaded the brush Megapack from Kyle T. Webster before April 17 2018, you must download and install an update to it. Your Megapack is already up-to-date if you installed it on or after April 17 2018.

Several brushes in the Megapack had texture tiling problems when the set was first made available to Creative Cloud members in October 2017. Those brushes have now been repaired. When you download the full Megapack again and replace your entire existing set, you automatically install the latest brushes.

Photoshop pixel brushes are industry-standard brushes. In addition to the default pixel brushes, import Photoshop brushes saved to your library, or choose from the vast collection of celebrated brushmaker Kyle T. Webster.

Brush stamp preview enables you to use pixel brushes and erasers more precisely by creating patterns the moment your finger or pencil touches the screen surface. Your brush stamp preview is set to Off by default.

One app that does this well is Artrage. The blender tool blends tone like a frosted blur, maintaining the textured finish of graphite on paper. The downside is that Artrage does not support 16-bit imagery ATOW. See image:

I have tried to mimic this tool in Photoshop with the Mixer brush tool and various settings. Unfortunately, my attempts end up looking smudgy and lose a lot of texture. Also, to get anything like a realistic blend, I have to draw very carefully.

A soft yet brittle Photoshop pencil with a flat nib and a waxy line. This brush has a stepped look with frequent cracks in its coverage. Use this for bold drawings when you want to give your sketch a distinct grease pencil appearance.

This versatile digital sketching pencil has some qualities not quite found in the real world; you can get a well defined fairly dark thin line even at a relatively low pressure and with just a little more pressure you can also get a thicker line that usually comes only after wearing the tip down or switching to a different pencil/brush. Digital pencils stay sharp no matter how long you use them, so pencils like this one allow you to sketch with both sharp and duller lines without having to switch tools.

An ultra-soft light toned pencil with equally soft edges. While it does produce a very soft light line at lowest pressure, this brush will quickly ramp up to a dark almost opaque cover pretty quickly. This flexibility makes it suitable for both light shading as well as casual draft sketching.

Here is a demonstration of a custom designed brush for the TVPaint software. This pen is sensitive to a realistic method of gestural drawing. Watch this instructional video to use this software brush to make several types of digital drawing strokes.

I've recently transferred over to Clip Studio Paint, and im really loving it, and wanna make the most of their brushes. does anyone recommend any brushes that imitate traditional drawing? graphite and hatching especially.

Here's a sample page with the grunge and texture brushes!

The pencils I use for my FWD pages at the moment come from the デッサン風 set. It has a really good cross hatch brush that looks close to what you've got there. It also has a great sketching brush. HOOH.
