Request for Access to HASOC 2022 ICHCL Task 2 Training Dataset

Dear HASOC organizers,

My name is Kinjal Ghosh and I am currently a student of VIT University, Vellore pursuing Integrated M.Tech in CSE with specialization in Data Science. I am currently working on a academic capstone project involving hate speech classification. I would like to use the HASOC 2022 ICHCL Task 2 training dataset for my project work.

For my project I would develop an AI system capable of understanding code-mixed Indian language text (eg. Hinglish, Benglish, Manglish) and perform sentiment analysis and hate speech detection. Utilizing the HASOC 2022 dataset for hate speech analysis would be of a huge help in this project.

I am able to download the dataset archive from the official website but the archive is password protected. Since the registration period for HASOC 2022 has already ended, I was unable to register as a participant.

I confirm that the data would be used only for academic research. I will follow the terms of use, not redistribute the datasets, and cite the relevant HASOC publications in my dissertation and any resulting work.

I would be grateful for your help. I will use the dataset only in accordance with its applicable terms and conditions and will properly acknowledge/cite HASOC in my work.
