Annette,
The Bottle Bill is in REAL DANGER. Last night Coca Cola and industry executives arrived in Hartford in a final effort to block legislation that would modernize CT's Bottle Bill. Our towns are being crushed by high recycling costs while industry is paying top dollar lobbyists to oppose much needed improvements to our recycling programs.
Our top legislative champion, Sen. Christine Cohen, has fought hard for this bill. We need to help her get it out of the Senate and onto the House for a final vote before the clock runs out on June 9th.
Senators need to hear from you NOW! Please call and email your Senator. Tell them you support a strong Bottle Bill, and ask them to vote YES on SB 1037 AAC Solid Waste Management. Don't let big business put their profits over what is best for our state.

When you call, leave a message asking for your Senator by name. Leave your name, phone number and your town and say you are calling in support of the Bottle Bill.
Thank you for taking action!
