Where can I find one? Where can I find full Gloss documentation? For ex. all primitive functions, color options etc.

So far I have found this, but it's for really old version. And I am a bit puzzled by displayInWindow, animateInWindow, simulateInWindow because in examples I see display, animate, simulate functions. I guess you extracted InWindow because it's common, but it's just a guess.

This is also VERY useful!

I suppose this is "whatever" topic ;)

If there is no Gloss documentation, I volunteer myself to help as much as I can. Just say what do you need :)

There is an unwritten assumption that if you know of Gloss then you
know Haskell and if you know Haskell then you know hoogle, haddock and
hackage.

I see it now. It really is an unwritten assumption for someone who knows Haskell well.

For the rest of us (now verse in Haskell and coming from windows), maybe few words like Documentation or Reference manual will prompt immediate association. But it's that's the Haskell way I must comply.

Your first link is almost right. You can find the latest hackage
documentation here http://hackage.haskell.org/package/gloss

I understand it now. But http://gloss.ouroborus.net/ is somewhat counter intuitive.

There is Download section with gloss, gloss-raster, gloss-examples. Download associates only with downloads. Examples are examples and gloss should have been download/install lib. But not in Haskell!
Gloss is downloadable lib and it's also link to reference manual. I believe it's super clear to 20 y.o. Haskell veterans, which I am not ;-)

Btw, is there some real/usable documentation for gloss lib?

I got Picture because of Haskell for kids tutorial. Not because of hackage. It works instantly and it's a real joy for visual types (like me) to actually see what has been coded right away :)))))
Animate was real fun too. It works as it should work :)

I am having trouble with Play. Is there some 'play' tutorial in human form? Should I post my questions here or look for help on outside forums?

Yes I can easily imagine Haskell guru glancing over hackage understanding everything and writing gloss game in 15min. But others might need some more time, with lots of plain&simple words, how to examples etc.

Have you tried looking through the examples and using the hackage
documentation to help understand them? I think this is the best way to
learn gloss. If nothing else try building and running all of the
examples, and see if any of them are similar to what you want to do.
