Vault 1.21.4, 1.20.9, 1.19.15, and 1.16.31 released!

The Vault team is announcing the release of Vault Community Edition 1.21.4 and Vault Enterprise 1.21.4, 1.20.9, 1.19.15, and 1.16.31. 

The 1.21 Community Edition and Enterprise editions are available on our releases portal [1,10].

Technical Notice: Go Version Compatibility for Vault 1.16.31

Vault 1.16.31 is compiled using Go 1.24. This is the final scheduled maintenance release for the Vault 1.16 series before it reaches End-of-Life (EOL).

Compatibility Details: While Go 1.25 and 1.26 are now available, the Vault 1.16 architecture is incompatible with changes introduced in those compilers. To ensure maximum stability for this final LTS milestone and avoid regressive risks, we have elected to remain on the proven Go 1.24 toolchain.

Important Note: As Go 1.24 has reached its community EOL, customers requiring a supported Go toolchain (1.25+) should prioritize migrating to Vault 1.19+ immediately. No further patches or Go version updates will be issued for the 1.16 lineage following this release.
