Hi list,

myself and Johannes Ring and Mark Florisson will be working together on
Hashdist at Simula (Oslo, Norway) coming week. The background is that
Mark is doing a PhD in Comp. Sci. in Cambridge and his own work touches
somewhat on configuration and dependency systems for packaging, so we
thought it'd be nice to sync up and see if he has ideas to contribute
(we've worked together before on Cython).

We're not exactly sure where the workshop will take us in terms of what
we want to work on or how. It's clear that whatever we think of should
get input from the wider Hashdist community, so anybody who's interested
should joins us on a Hangout during the week, preferably Wednesday I
think. If you're interested please shout out when you're available
(during reasonable hours CET).

To the degree we figure out something that's hard enough written
ideas/specs we should also post those for comments of course.
