I am trying to build FEniCS using hashdist on a cluster running RHEL and I'm immediately getting a critical error. I've attached the error and my fenics.yaml file. No files are created in tmp directory in .hashdist.

I am using python 2.7.9, opempi 1.5.4, gcc 4.8.4. I do not have root access to the machine so I'm limited by the compiler suite available (short of building them myself in my home directory).

Thank you.

Johannes, does this look familiar to you?

I suspect this is a problem with the FEniCS installer's profile, but I'm not sure.

Figured it out. Sorry about the confusion. This was a simple character encoding issue in my fenics.yaml file. I wasn't careful enough. Thanks for your time!
