CT hunting law changes effective 10/1/2025

Hello everyone,

I hope you are enjoying birding during fall migration. I wanted to send out a quick note to make sure that our membership is aware that there were changes to the hunting laws in Connecticut that took effect yesterday. Hunting is now permitted on Sundays on private land with written consent from the property owner. So if you are going to be out birding this fall make sure you are aware of your surroundings and wearing safety orange even on Sundays.
