Subject: Big Sit Report Oct 12th, Station 43 S. Windsor - Hartford Audubon Society
Good Morning Members, sharing a list of birds seen at last week's Big Sit Station43 - Group of 10 Participants. Brian Kleinman stopped in with a group to say hi and share birds seen on his Granby walk too!
Unusually low Canada goose numbers and ducks in general. Windy, moderate temp, light jacket in tow. Rain was due in the afternoon. The day before was the Hartford Marathon, Main street off path is part of the route.
This list is shared yearly with the New Haven Bird Club Big Sit group. Best bird ? young White-crowned sparrow, or see for yourself :)
