I think it is a good article and the suggestions are one way to get successful.

But we have to remember that migration demands its own sacrifices which he forget to mentioned.
1. First it is not possible for every one to migrate.

2. You have to leave your dear ones to the extent that you r not there when they need u most like illness/death etc.

3. Most don't get successful and many commits suicide in strange land.

4. You may be away from your immediate family especially wife and children and unable to visit them for long time. It means you r not there to provide them physical support and guidance. Many social and moral issues arise from your absense.

5. Those who took the family with them have lost their kids to external culture.

If u look into the causes of crisis in this case as well as around u in our societies, u find some avoidable and few unavoidable reasons.

Unavoidable reasons are Illnesses / untimely death/severe loss in business /etc.

Avoidable reasons are 1. Lots of Asraf (extravagancy) when u are earning money. Quran mentioned at many places to not indulge in Asraf. 2. Taking loans for un-necessary expenses like marriage / Majalis /Qurbani/ Hajj and Ziarat /Buying cars /Buying big houses/ buying luxury furnitures and many more places where u can avoid these loans and avoid borrers hassel. 3. Lack of savings when u earn good, which leads to loan right away when u incur big expense like illness etc. 4. Feeling shame for living simple life. Quran again emphasis at many places about simple life style.

So I think if we stick to such life which is recommended by Quran than most people will not face such problems to compel them to migration. Believe me, migration carries with it lots of emotional issues. So please live simply in your own societies except migrate for the sack of religion or tabligh..

Regards
nafees

brother you are very right, but what to do when your surroundings are not favorable?

I give you an example; you can't live with your loved ones and see them dying! rather you may prefer to live away from them and provide a healthy/wealthy living. Yes Qur'an has given us right guidence but is it only our duty, what about others? That's why Qur'an speaks about social development. But nowadays we are more anti-Qur'an.

During dark ages just see that Christian world was busy in enjoying their riches, killing in the name of religion, using religion for one's superiority and lots more evil practices. on the contrary, Muslims were famous for their discipline, simple living, justice, equality, kindness, and several other qualities. That's why MUslims were the victors and Christians lost the crusades.

But today Muslims have adopted all evils from dark-ages whereas the WEst (all of them are not Christians at all) is enjoying the same godly gifts of justice, equality, simple living, kindness, love. they kick us and we simply bouce back to recieve another kick. Is this real life. If we want to stand affirm, we have to understand meaning of life and repent from our sins. Its not an individual act, it has to be joint action. otherwise we will continue living a worthless life (God forbid)

Hello guys,

I’ve been receiving your great mails for quite some time now and I thank you all for your great ideas.

I just want to say that Global Integrity, a not for profit organization dealing with governance and corruption around the world has just released its annual report regarding the state of the issues in a good number of countries.

For the first time, Morocco has been included, and I have personally contributed to that.

For my contribution to the report about Morocco, please look here: http://report.globalintegrity.org/Morocco/2008/notebook

Haroon Nasir,

You are right to say what you say about Christians, but I beg you to study the history on Islam invading Europe and see ther millions they killed, in the name of religion, in the name of The Prophet and Allah.

All religions have good things and bad things. Attacking one and defending the other, is a negative approach, if you with to improve living conditions on earth. After we die, it doesn't make the slightest difference. God doesn't have a heaven divided by religion. Everybody goes to same place.

Alberto

Aberto,

You have failed as Millions of other Americans in understanding those who killed in the name of religion and those who killed for political gain.  Today's terrorists from the Middle East have a political motivation in killing the innocent.  They may take the name of God or the Prophet, but this is a smoke screen.  Regretfully there are Muslims who see these monsters as hero's and they should be ashamed of themselves.  However, today's war in the Middle East has nothing to do with fighting terrorism.  America is being used by Israel to wage a religious war against the Muslim world.  Here are some examples:

>> Bush and Obama's unconditional support for Israel.
>> Bush saying, "Crusade against terrorists"
>> A picture of a Army mess hall showing a picture of Jesus.
>> Bush saying, "God told me to wage this war."
>> U.S. Soldier saying, "God is on our side."

On and on and on....
