Markus Ort, Head of Future Maps Design at HERE. Markus Ort is part of the HERE team at Nokia in Berlin, where he leads the design work for Future Mapping Experiences and Tools. He's a trained Information Architect and Designer, with a long history and passion for Maps and Wayfinding Systems. Having his origins in Switzerland, he grew up with a natural appreciation for traditional Cartography and love for the Outdoors. While this is an important reference, his daily work is driven by the growing opportunities to build compelling, data-driven and contextual mapping experiences for the mobile age. We have barely scratched the surface.
