hi slam and law school comrades,

tomorrow morning from 10am to 12pm, the custodians (represented by seiu 615) will be holding a strike vote in the first parish church across from harvard yard. negotiations have been moving very slowly, and management has shown no desire to budge on the things that the custodians want most, namely parity in benefits, ending split shifts and speed-ups, and making sure healthcare costs don't rise. the contract expires on tuesday, which will allow custodians to strike if they are still dissatisfied.

at 12pm, the custodians will leave the church and stage a march/action in harvard square, and as many people as possible should join us and be a part of that. we may also hand out leaflets or do a people's mic outside the church while the vote is happening, depending on how many folks we can get to turn out. mobilize your friends and join us on saturday!
