BOSTON — Occupy Boston will be staying put for at least two more
weeks. A Boston judge said Thursday she will decide by Dec. 15 whether
the city can clear the encampment in Dewey Square without judicial
oversight.
In the meantime, a restraining order protecting the protesters from
eviction will remain in effect.
Lawyers for Occupy Boston say the camp is protected by free speech.
City leaders say they want the power to shut it down.
