Hi Occupiers,

Two important events going on today for World AIDS Day:

1) Say Yes to Drugs rally (meet at the pit at 8 AM) - push Merck (a pharmaceutical company) into the Medicines Patent Pool, an innovative model to improve access to lifesaving AIDS drugs by voluntarily sharing patents in the developing world.  We will be holding this Pool Party outside a Merck-attended conference at the Westin Copley Place.

2) World AIDS Day vigil outside Senator John Kerry's office at 4:30 PM - for the first time, the end of the AIDS epidemic is in sight.  Come help ensure lawmakers maintain and increase their commitment to the fight against AIDS.  Join us for an hour of commemoration, reflection, and hope.  We'll hear speakers and performers from Boston schools and organizations and sign letters to Senators Kerry and Brown. (1 Bowdoin Street: Red Line to Charles/MGH - walk down Cambridge Street to Bowdoin Street)

Hope some of you can make it to one of these events!

-Lily
