Team,

I wanted to let you know that we will not be able to compete this year. We are just a bit too far off of the completed project to make it. This is our decision, not the school's - we have the support of the school to compete, and we need to make sure we are ready to do so next year. The work done by everyone, especially that of the students in 91r set us up in a good position for next year. Let me know if you have any questions, and stay tuned in for updates as the summer progresses.

Hey, good work, team. It sounds reasonable, but surprised by the timing of this and still haven't heard any details back. What exactly is the list of things we need to have completed (or ideally would have completed) in order to compete?
