I would like to know whether there is any feeble chance of getting him admitted to Hartley's School. Nothing can be better than this. The school is stone throw distance from his place.

I will be announcing launch of my book shortly. I pledge some profit
from the proceeds to the kid. What is the fees nowadays for an year at
Hartleys?
Also, it looks like the overall development of the kid is at stake and
not just school fees.

Indranil: Is there anything you have in mind for the future plans for
his overall welfare? Also, we need to consider a more long term
relationship with this child rather than just a one time fee or
sponsorship, hence my question.

Dear All,

First and foremost, I must thank to all who have shown concern for the child. I had a vivid discussion with the father, Mr. Arindam Caki regarding all the suggestions that have come up till now. 

As suggested by Mr.Hiten, Mr. Gaurav and Ms. Sonal regarding admission in Hartley's High School, we all are eyeing for the same, so is the father. As per the telephonic conversation with Mr. Hiten, we will fix an appointment with Mrs. Nandita Roy Chowdhury and meet her in person to discuss over the same. 

Mr. Dibyaroop Ghosh has shown his interest in donating some amount for the cause. Mr. Chaki has shown asked me to convey his thanks to you for this help in advance. He has recommended me to share my personal bank account details for the transaction. The recommendation letter and the bank details has been attached herewith. It is requested to kindly send a mail after sending some amount, so that I can keep a record, and intimate them in proper utilization of the fund. 

Mr. Rangarajan, I salute your humble gesture. Yes, I am looking forward for the proper guidance to be given to the child. I am trying to fix a secured job for Mr.Chaki, which I suppose will heal the problem in long term. Yesterday I have discussed with him regarding the co-curriculum activities of the child. He is trying to fix someone to come at his residence and help the child in his academics. Apart from that, he has fixed someone who will be coming to teach painting and handicrafts to Ayush. Not only that, he will be taking the kid to the nearby field, to allow him play. This will stop his mind to stay idle. He is also in consultation with a child psychiatrist at dum dum. I will be meeting the child personally at regular interval for overall supervision. 

Mr. Pankaj has suggested me to meet the principal of New Horizon, and request her to waive the tuition fees as of now, and also request her to convey a message to the teaching staff to take some special care to this child. Until we secure a seat for Ayush in Hartley's School, this may be a great help for the family. Moreover, that will give a comfort zone for the child in school as well. I will have a word with Mr. Pankaj today to fix a date to go and meet the principal of New Horizon. Even Mr. Chaki has shown his interest to accompany us.

I am taking the reference of this mail sent to you all on June 3rd, 2014, regarding Ayushman Chaki.

With all your good wishes and support, I am happy to inform you all that the child has succeeded in scoring the admission exam for Hartley's School for 1st standard. The list came out yesterday itself, and his name is right up there. 

Now the admission fees for 1st standard this year is 22,650 INR, which needs to be paid by 16th of this week.

As you all are well informed about the entire scenario, I request you all to kindly step forward and support this child with some part sponsorship for this particular admission fee. Your small contribution will create huge difference.

A) usually our alumni education foundation sponsors the yearly tuition fees only to the students who are in need & that too any one of the teacher of the Skool has to acknowledge the same . 

Hence I would request the child / child's parents to give a letter

 to the "Kolkata Hartleys Alumni Education Foundation "- 

stating the facts & requesting for sponsership duly acknowledge / signed by any one of the teacher from the school . 

B) normally a Proggrame is chalked out for funds allocation & distributed accordingly . Last year the foundation had sponsored about 12 students ( as per the availability of funds ) .

Usually the fees is paid in the month of end January or feb 1st week . 

C ) presently the foundation has a balance of Rs 10000/ approx only .

D) hence requested to 1st raise the funds and then make any commitments .

I have received your amount yesterday. As per the telephonic converstaion with Gaurav Sanghvi, I will be transferring the amounts to the alumni fund. Gaurav will issue a cheque of desired amount to the father of the ward. Thank you so much for your contribution.

Last night I met the father of Ayushman Chaki at his residence. The good news is that, he is also expecting to accumulate a portion of the admission fees by today, which may round up to around 10k. As per our telephonic conversation, I have asked him to first visit the Principal of Hartley's school and get the letter countersigned. The soft copy of the letter is attached herewith for your reference. Thereafter, he will contact you and make a visit as per your convenience. He will carry the cash and give it to your for the Alumni Foundation fund, and receive the cheque of the desired amount.

Meanwhile, I have received the 5000 from Dibyaroop Ghosh. That amount and my own 5000 contribution, I will transfer to the Alumni Foundation account too. I have already added the account as my beneficiary, waiting for the confirmation. 

Out of the remaining contribution expected from my friends, Jasmine Nahar is about to send another 1000. The other two friends who committed to pay 5000 altogether are not responding lately. So, it is expected, they might have felt not to contribute. However, if at all that amount comes to me, will voluntarily transfer to the alumni fund itself. As of now, will transfer the 10000 I have with me.

I thank you all for your support. I wish this contribution and concern towards the needy brings bright future to the kid.
