Like every year this year too all of us collectively are sponsoring needy students of Hartleys .

This years Target is to sponsor about 15 students & for the same 

we need to collect Rs 275000/

by 20th Jan 2015 , as fees need to be paid by 28th Jan 2015 .

It gives me immense joy to share this magnanimous gesture shown by one of the sponsored students Single Mother .

The Alumni Education Foundation , used to sponsor this child's annual school fees for the last three years .

The Single mother who was giving private tuitions was hardly able to meet both ends and hence had approached us for free ship for his son .

Today , the same lady with god's grace has got a decent job out of Kolkata . She was in town & came to meet and showed her gratitude towards the alumni foundation , by saying since she has a decent job now , she would like to repay the foundation to her capacity that helped her son .

Though her pay scale is moderate , but the urge of "Giving Back " and with such gratitude is amazing . 

We declined her request but she was adamant that she wants to contribute for the lesser privileged students of Hartleys & to honour her sentiments we allowed her to donate a token amount and which she wants to do on a yearly basis . 

Once more , would request all to come forward an do your bit too .
