Guys,

You guys are doing a great job!! I'm not sure how many of you still
remember me..though for me, all those names I came across in these
emails sure strikes a bell...

FYI... I am in touch with lot of my batchmates(1991 batch). I have
there contact details and email ids. I can provide the same for the
alumini to grow. I have marked copies to most of them in this email.

The noble cause that's behind the alumini foundation is something
every Hartilian would have wanted to do or atleast participate given a
chance and I am sure all my batchmates would jump in if asked to lend
a hand.

I am here to help and grow the foundation in all possible ways. I am
in touch with Gaurav too who has put in a lot of effort to setup the
first ever alumini of Harthley's School. Cheers to all those who came
up with the idea and had the courage and effort to start this up. I
know its easy saying then doing and it's no way easy to setup an
alumini from the scratch...kudos to all you guys....Ranga, Saroj,
Sauvik, Roop, Gaurav, Ravi, Srabani, Amit, Anirban, Arnab, Ritesh,
Nitesh and all others. I am sure in years to come this alumini would
grow and help the needy - both students and teachers of Hartley's,
which I believe is the motto of the alumini.

Please let me know whom to coordinate to tag new batchmates and I can
send the email ids. Also let me know in any way that I can be a
helping hand to this great cause.

U , Srabani , Saroj , Jyotesh , Kindly co rdinate amongst youself  & take up the cordinating job with all batches .

 

1. Take a list from each Batch Head. i.e the name, email id , phone no .

 

2. Once u have that , start sending the Introduction letter to all Alumni .

 

3. By nxt week Ajay Agarwal will get the Membership Form s printed, once that is done as alumnis to fill the form .

 

4. Roop , Jyotesh , Aparna Mani & Ranga Rajan are in the Web designing  matter , hopefully with the speed they are doing the job we should have the web site by New Year , then Alumni Can start Registering online also .

 

5. Shiladitay , AVIK , AROOP ANIL DUGGAR , SOHIT , ( Bobby /Amit ghelani )   ............>>>>>>>   Take the lead boss !!

To summarize on the website matters, first priority is to enable online alumni registration. Front page can be the introductory letter.

 

Aparna / Roop: I am a technically challenged person - so you will have to comment on the viability of meeting this expectation of ushering  2010 in with a simple webpage.

I will also research over the long weekend if we can get this done using a blog site. If you know, please enlighten all.

Another thought (Trust me to think laterally esp when it comes to outsourcing work):

 

Given we are in this hi-tech age, I am sure nowadays, schoolkids would know a lot of technology unlike our days. So, we could start involving our brightest schoolkids and give them live projects like Alumni website design and coding. In return they get free membership to the Alumni Foundation after they graduate from school.

 

What say? I might be sounding preposterous on both the ideas in this mail - my research as well as outsourcing ;-)
