Skateboard Art event at Black Bear. Thoughts on this?

On April 4th, Black Bear Saloon will be hosting the second annual Big Can Art Slam. Its an opportunity to come to downtown Hartford and paint on us. Pabst and Black Bear Saloon have linked up with Worship Skate Boards to offer this event for the second time. Only this time we added a small twist...
All art at the end of the night will be judged for best in show. The Winner will receive a $150 Gift card to a local art shop, and second in show will receive $75, and third receiving $50! Artists will have the opportunity to not only paint on canvas, but be able to paint on blank skate decks as well courtesy of Worship Skateboards! The winner will have the opportunity to have their work added to a real Worship Skate board! Pabst Blue Ribbon supplies all artists with the PBR starter kit including a ton of Key chains, Hats, Shirts, PBR and of course the canvas. We have easels ready to go, all you need to bring is some paint, brushes, and yourself! Here at the Bear we encourage artists to think outside of the box- so bring whatever medium you feel most comfortable with! (Unfortunately excluding spray paint, due to being indoors).
