We currently have an on-call structural engineer assisting us in writing a Design-Build RFP which the City will issue in the next 2-3 weeks for Qualified Respondents.
We are asking the respondents to “design and build” a skatepark (within structural parameters) for our site and within the $150,000. budget.
We anticipate that the process of design will take 3-4 months; then CTDOT approval will be required; then construction may proceed (hopefully in Spring 2013).
