Cross-pollinating: the Greater Hartford Gnu Linux Group is starting social meetings. Sounds like the next one is at Tisane in West Hartford.

You have to be careful where you park - particular no not park in Kinko's (across the street from Tisane) - no matter how harmless and inviting it looks - you will get towed.

There is plenty of safe parking in the area

My only concern with a downtown location is parking.  From what I understand, it's difficult to find a spot on the street and restaurants don't usually have their own lots.  What are others' experience?
