Gang :

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend the meeting Monday, but wanted to still try to help get things rolling again.

I've setup a basic site at

http://hartfordrb.com

and there is an eventbrite site setup for the event on Monday as well to help track attendance. Please register if you can attend so our host Final Site can have an idea of how many attendees there will be.

Thank you again very much Rob and Final Site for offering your office! I wish I could attend the first meeting.

Please spread the word!

Thanks

Aaron

Ahem that's protected content. The licensing bill is in the mail. :)

Mine, too. And Aaron, that tag totally makes me think of beer. No idea why.

I will stop by Monday evening.  It's good to see this group revive.

Well this certainly isn't a fork of https://github.com/actsasflinn/hartford.rb; are we on GitHub?

I'm glad that this is happening and hope I can make a future meeting.  I won't be able to make it this Monday though :'(

However I will be there in spirit and playing with mpi_ruby https://github.com/pjotrp/mpi-with-ruby :) :)

Not a fork of hartfordjs, also not on github as the process was

Fork wintersmith
Remove old posts
Write new post
Configure
Deploy.

If there is anything interesting that goes into the site it should def be on github. Also, the core package should probably be ruby not node, but that's the tab I had open at the time. :)

Yeah I'd start from scratch, my old hartford.rb repo I think was in Merb possibly and I don't think we ever used it.

Sorry for the last minute cancellation. I am leaving in vacation tomorrow and need to get stuff completed.

Nice to meet everyone tonight. I enjoyed getting the ball rolling with the relaunched Hartford.rb and hope to see you all again at the next meeting.

Nice to see someone else using Wintersmith, I'm working on rolling it out for hartfordjs.com. I would expect hartfordrb to go with straight Jekyll, Octopress, or Middleman. I'm interested in what happens there, as I'm doing a lot with static sites lately.
