Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that transform raw data into meaningful insights. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Power BI, SQL, data modeling, DAX, and ETL processes, with the ability to create interactive dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions.
• Develop efficient data models using Power BI Desktop.
• Create complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
• Build and optimize Power Query (M Language) transformations.
• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, Azure, Excel, SharePoint, and REST APIs.
• Optimize report performance by improving data models, DAX calculations, and query execution.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and workspace security.
• Schedule data refreshes and monitor report performance in the Power BI Service.
• Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and developers to deliver reporting solutions.
• Troubleshoot data quality and reporting issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide user training when required.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• Expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
• Experience with Power Query (M Language)
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration
• Understanding of Power BI Gateway, scheduled refresh, and deployment pipelines
• Familiarity with Row-Level Security (RLS) implementation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
